Yoga is about clearing away whatever is in us that prevents our living in the most full and whole way
- Cybele Tomlinson
I was introduced to yoga philosophy and practice in 2010 and have remained a fascinated and curious student. At the time, and to this day, the practice of yoga invites me to re-connect with my body and mind, and to experience more haromony in my life by cultivating virtues and attentiveness to the present moment.
I completed my 200 Hour Teacher Training at The Humble Yoga School in Athens, Ohio in the Summer of 2017. Throughout my training, I was fortunate to learn from teachers who emphasized safe alignment, progressive movement, and intentional sequencing that is accessible and adapatable to each student. As a mental health therapist, I bring components of mindfulness and yoga into my clinical work with anxiety, depression, chronic stress, and other conditions with great success. The physical, emotional, and spiritual benefits of yoga abound and the practice has something to offer each of us.
As a teacher, it is my intention to help create a safe and encouraging space where students can explore movement, breath, and meditation and gain insights and tools that can be used - on and off of the mat - throughout our daily lives.

If money is a prohibitive factor in attending yoga classes, we have garden work/trade opportunities available.
Yoga should be accessible for everyone and money should not be a barrier to health and wellness.
If interested in this option, please write and we'll find a fair and fun arrangement :)
